South Sudan Mission
Juba is now calm, especially despite the non-payment of salaries to workers for a maximum period of eleven months, otherwise, people are patient, but the truth is that the non-payment of salaries created a disaster, so you find that all things have stopped. Perhaps it helps to deliver God’s message because everyone has returned to searching for God Almighty. Perhaps it is the only hope for material needs. Also, a large number of children have been expelled from schools because their parents are unable to pay their tuition fees. We in the church in Lulugo are facing a big problem with the church building, which is close to collapsing because of the impact of the heavy rains. Finally, the church in the country lost an important person, Bishop Paul l Chol Deng, Bishop of the Anglican Church in South Sudan.
